There’s Another Aladdin Makeup Collection on the Market — But There’s a Catch

Primark's Aladdin beauty collection

Two months after M.A.C. initially teased its Disney Aladdin Collection, it finally dropped last week just in time for fans to order it to wear to the live-action Aladdin movie opening this weekend. But while we were all obsessing over the highly anticipated M.A.C. products, another brand launched its own Aladdin beauty collection.

Relevist reports that Primark, the fast-fashion store with hundreds of locations in Europe and a handful in the U.S., launched an Aladdin beauty collection in mid-May, and it’s a nod to the original animated film from 1992. And with nothing over the equivalent of $11 (it’s priced in pounds and euros) it’s not out of the realm of possibilities to grant your own wish for the entire line.

Like the M.A.C. collection, Primark’s Alladin collection features an eye shadow palette. Called the Your Wish Is My Command Magic Eyeshadow Palette, it contains 12 matte, shimmery, and sparkling shades in jewel and coppery tones, with names inspired by the story. The milk-chocolate matte shade, for example, is called A Whole New World, after the famous ballad, and the shimmering royal blue shade is, of course, called Genie. You can complete the look with the line’s set of false eyelashes.

The collection expands beyond makeup with two hair brushes, both purple with matching tassels. One, however has a gold pattern, with Jasmine’s profile on the back of the paddle, and the other has a full-color illustration of the princess.
